About HMC

 

A student-run body working towards making the IIFT campus experience in Kolkata a memorable one. We act as campus energizers, coordinating with other committees to ensure a safe stay at IIFT.

 

Agenda

 

The purpose of HMC is to provide world class amenities for students as well as ensure healthy food that will leave you with an unforgettable experience at IIFT. We are an independent, non-profit organization that caters to the nutritional needs of 200 plus stakeholders, students, faculty, officials throughout the year. Every day at IIFT, the mess committee aims to develop a culture of sharing happiness through food.

 

Initiatives taken

 

1.Help improve hostel living standards.

2.Help improve the mess and other campus-living related processes.

3.Act as coordinators between the administration and students.

4.Ensure smooth working of laundry, canteen services and anytime-anywhere snacks.

5. Set-up amenities like washing machine, water purifiers, masks and sanitisers.
